[What?]
An infant stimulation and basic school-readiness program in which children (birth-age 5) can learn and develop while their parents are attending New Moms program activities. The program offers hands-on assessment of child abuse/neglect indicators and child health.
[How?]
- Daily structured lesson plans within month-long themes
- Separate modules for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Parent-child interaction activities
- Ongoing basic health/social/behavioral screenings
[2008 Accomplishments]

New Kids provided more than 6,500 hours of children’s programming.
- In 2007 and 2008, 134 children received Denver II Developmental Screenings to ensure that they are developing normally.
