"July" is 20 and has two children - Melique and Nasier. She has been involved in New Moms for four years as a community outreach client.

What she likes best about the program: "The support of New Moms, my friends and my case manager. Also, the opportunities that New Moms opens for us."

Her hero and why: "Jesus. He died on the cross for us."

"July's" goals in the next ten years: "To be successful, stable, secure and happy with my nursing degree."

What she would like her children to be when they grow up: "I want them to be anything they want as long as they're happy and its legal."

If she were an animal, the animal she would be: "A lion because I'm one to protect."

What makes "July" smile: "My children, my friends and positive people with positive energy."
