President's Letter
On March 18, 2008 New Moms Cooperative
Living Program experienced a fire, which has
caused us to temporarily relocate our moms and babies. Currently
we are working with our
insurance company to determine the full extent
of the damage. However, God was faithful
once again and kept all our moms and children
out of the building. There were no injuries and
we knew immediately where everyone was!
Our dedicated staff and community partners
worked through the night to ensure that all of
our families knew that they were safe and that
we would "get through this together". And we have! Our moms have begun to recover some of their belongings, which means so much to them. Demolition
of the damaged parts of the facility
began the very same week. Our families were relocated to apartments owned by another ministry. Daily
life has for the most part, returned to normal.
Please continue to keep everyone involved at
New Moms in your prayers and thank you for your continued support.
